Just last week we had an estate sale managed by Linda Moore at Estate
Mates. Linda thought of everything, and it was such a relief to deal
with someone who knew all the ins and outs, had all the contacts, etc.
She and her helpers turned what seemed like an overwhelming amount of
“stuff” into an attractive and inviting house of treasures. Linda was
able to recognize and value individual pieces of worth and contact the
right buyers for them. She was able to price everything else so that
it moved out of there to people who could enjoy it, which was the main
thing important to us. On top of that, we made a lot more money than
we hoped for, and Linda was just a pleasure to work with. I’ve heard
of people who were not happy with their estate sales, so I was
pleasantly surprised. We have already received our check for our
portion of the sales.

That brochure is wonderful! You guys have done such a nice job of setting up the house.
Everything looks so much more appealing than I thought possible. Thank you again for
all that you did. My brother and sister and I could not have accomplished what you did.
You made this process much easier.

Hi Linda and Richard ~

I always love your sales and it was so nice to come out to the lake
this weekend. I wanted to let you know how much I love the 1948
Singer sewing machine. (In case you had any doubts!) Would it be
possible to pass a message to the family? I’d like them to know how
much it meant to me to find that machine, and that I feel honored to
have it. I can tell it was really well loved and cared for, and was a
prized sewing machine. I grew up with a machine just like it and
learned how to sew on a big, black electrified Singer sewing machine.
My mom used it to sew all of our Halloween costumes, school projects
and summer clothes, and she swears by her machine to this day. I know
what solid pieces of machinery these old Singer’s are. Please let the
family know their mom’s/grandma’s Singer went to someone who is really
going to really love this machine, take good care of it, and put it to
use. If I went looking for a machine just like it, I could have spent
6 months trying to find it and not been able to. I know how hard
transitions can be for the families you work with and I just want them
to know I’m honored to have the sewing machine.

I appreciate your sales and all the hard work you do for families
going through transitions. Always looking forward to your next event!

When we made the decision to make the move into a retirement home, we engaged Estate Mates to take care of the disposal of a lifetime of accumulation. Dear Linda, Margaret, and Richard,

Thank you again for all your hard work in organizing and running the estate sale for my mother’s home. I was amazed at how quickly you were able to set everything up. You obviously knew what you were doing. I also appreciate the research you did to determine the value of older items and even going to the jewelry store to purchase a battery for an old watch.

And, after the sale, the house was clean and, best of all, vacant! I would certainly recommend you to anyone who needs these services.

What a remarkably efficient team–they sorted, tagged, and sold thousands of items in a mere week. Best of all, as a result of their labors, I ended up making more than twice what I had expected. I’m happy to recommend them.

I needed to downsize as I was moving from my home to a retirement community. Estate Mates came to the rescue. They came into my home and skillfully and artistically organized, priced and tagged the items I wanted to sell.
